Arma Care Center, A Best-Kept Secret
The Arma Care Center is possibly the best-kept secret for seniors in southeastern Kansas. Situated in the heart of the Little Balkans, the Arma Center was opened in 2005, with 60 beds and a compassionate and dedicated staff. The professional staff takes great pride in providing superior residential care and participates in the daily lives of each resident. Located in the small town of Arma, staffers are often lifelong friends of residents and have known their families for years.
Activities are abundant, ranging from Bingo to Wii Bowling led by community children. Local students and daycare children come for visits and to play games. It is not uncommon to see a colorful parachute floating, as students sing and interact with residents. Celebrations are abundant and range from theme parties to holiday festivities and birthday parties.
