Jackie Bringhurst

Chief Clinical Officer

Jackie Bringhurst, RN, WCC, NHA, CDON is the Chief Clinical Officer. As Chief Clinical Officer, Bringhurst oversees the strategic direction and nursing operations of Deseret’s Health and Rehab centers. She is responsible for the delivery of competent, effective and safe nursing care services by planning, directing, coordinating and supervising clinical operations. Bringhurst manages Quality Assurance and ensures that the delivery of care is consistent with state and federal regulations.   

With over 13 years of experience, Bringhurst brings an extensive history in long term healthcare. Bringhurst started her career as a CNA and quickly moved up to Assistant Director of Nursing at the Heritage Eastridge Facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. She then became Director of Nursing at the Woodland Park Rehab Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. With great dedication and focus, Bringhurst then moved on to become Regional Nurse Consultant and mostly recently, Director of Clinical Services for a Utah based senior health care company.

Bringhurst received her Associates Degree in Nursing from Utah Valley State College in Orem, Utah. She has further education as a Health Facility Administrator, Wound Care Consultant, and Certified Nursing Instructor. She is a Registered Nurse, Nursing Home Administrator, Program Coordinator for Utah’s Certified Nursing Assistant Program, and member of ANA, NDONA, AAWC, AHCA, and UHCA.

Bringhurst participated in Quality Assurance reviews in cooperation with the Utah, California, Washington, Arizona, and Hawaii guidelines. She has provided leadership and support to clinical teams as well as regional and facility departments.
